I have enjoyed drawing and painting
as far back as I can remember.
My mother was an artist so it always
seemed a natural part of life to me.
I am compelled to put down what my eye
enjoys seeing… capturing beauty, light, color,
and a sense of aliveness is what I am after.

When Cherlyn is not painting she pursues her passion for digital storytelling and is working on a large instillation piece. She is also studying with local artists, Molly Davis and Chuck Ceraso.
